Opportunity to contribute at a system level
The Ministry of Health is currently seeking family physicians to serve as board members on the Patient Care Quality Review Board (PCQRB) - an independent advisory body that makes recommendations to improve service delivery and patient experience across the health system.
While participation is in an individual capacity and does not represent BCCFP, it is fundamental that the voices of practising family physicians continue to inform health care delivery for patients in BC.
BIPOC Peer Support Group

This group offers Black, Indigenous, People of Colour (BIPOC) physicians a safe space to discuss their challenges and share their lived experiences. Participants and facilitators support and empower each other by sharing lived experience, processing burdens and leveraging strengths collectively.

25th Annual BC Endocrine Day

This full-day lecture series offers an interactive case-based review of common endocrine problems encountered in clinical practice. Presentations will be tailored with the needs of general practitioners and general internists in mind, but the event will also be open to other specialists, pharmacists, and nurses with an interest in endocrine practice.
